Wir haben sehr viele tolle Beiträge zugesandt bekommen – Danke
noch einmal an alle, die uns Material geschickt haben! Jetzt haben wir
daraus eine wunderbare erste Ausgabe von UNSER MAGAZIN gemacht.
Das Thema ist Home Is Where The Heart Is. Es geht um
dieses Gefühl, an einem Ort richtig zu sein – und wenn es nur
für einen Moment ist. Das können Menschen sein, eine Bar, der
alte Parka unserer Teenagerzeit oder der Moment, wo man auf der Rückbank
eines Autos sitzt, die Landschaft vorüberziehen sieht und weiß,
dass man jetzt gerade in diesem Augenblick nirgendwo anders auf der Welt
sein möchte. Aber auch die Melancholie, die einen überkommt
bei Dingen, die uns einmal Heimat waren und es nicht mehr sind.
Ein kleiner Ausblick auf den Inhalt der ersten Ausgabe:
Es gibt ein echtes Fotoalbum im Heft geben und hübsche Tür-
und Klingelschilder zum Ausschneiden. Neben einer Comic-Umsetzung von
Elvis' "Home is where the heart is" freuen wir uns u. a. über
Texte von René Hamann und Elisabeth Gollackner, eine Fotostrecke
von Männern mit ihren Traktoren und Illustrationen von William Edmonds
und Elisabeth Moch.
Unser Magazin ist 88 Seiten dick, s/w und wird halbjährlich
in einer nummerierten Auflage von 250 Stück erscheinen. Erhältlich
ist es in ausgewählten Läden, sowie über diese Homepage.

"Unser Magazin" ist eine unabhängige Publikation, die ein dickes "non" vor dem Profit stehen hat, so können wir eure Beiträge leider nicht geld-technisch abgelten, aber hoffen, dass ihr unseren Enthusiasmus teilt.
We have received many great texts, illustrations and photographs – thank you so much again to all of those who have submitted materials.
The topic of this issue is Home Is Where The Heart Is. You certainly know the feeling of being at exactly the right place at exactly the right time – even if it is just for one moment. This "place" can be a person, the old hoodie from your teenage-wardrobe or the moment when you sit in the back of a car with your loved one right next to you and you just know: This is it, you don't want to be anywhere else in the world. But it can also be the bittersweet melancholy or sadness that grows around things and places that used to be home – but are not anymore.
A little preview of the 1st issue's content: We have a real photo album inside each copy and nice little door-nameplates you'll have to cut out. Next to a comic of Elvis' old tune "Home is where the heart is" there are stories from René Hamann and Elisabeth Gollackner, photographs of men and their tractors, as well as illustrations by William Edmonds and Elisabeth Moch – just to name a few of our contributors.
Unser Magazin will be issued twice a year in a registered circulation of 250 copies and you can purchase it in a couple of hand-picked shops as well as via this homepage.
